Primary Care Physician

New opportunity for a Primary Care Physician to work in one of our Sacramento, CA, based facilities. Our Physician will provide services to inmate patients with a variety of chronic care issues within an urgent care setting.

We are looking for qualified Physicians who are available to fill the following shifts:

• Full-time: 8-hour shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. This shift operates 7 days per week.
• Part-time: 8-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This shift operates 1 to 2 days per week.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered CA License
• Current BLS certificate
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice
• Five years of experience following completion of residency or fellowship training

Desirable Qualifications

• For Internal Medicine or Family Practice: Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or similar acute care experience
• Experience with addiction medicine and/or alcohol and drug detoxification
• Experience treating jail/prison inmates or experience working in a correctional facility
• Experience treating the homeless or medically indigent
• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish
