    Academic Rheumatologist

    The University of Texas Health at San Antonio is seeking an Academic Rheumatologist to join the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine. This full-time faculty position will hold an appointment of Assistant Professor/Clinical, Associate Professor/Clinical, or Professor/Clinical depending on the level of experience.

    Job Description

    • Provide outstanding rheumatologic care, conduct research, and teach and supervise rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
    • Provide outpatient care at the Robert B Green and Gateway clinic sites, as well as inpatient consult coverage at the UT Health Multispecialty & Research Hospital (MSRH) and University Hospital.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree.
    • Completed 3 years of ACGME certified Internal Medicine residency.
    • Board certified in Rheumatology or successfully obtain board certification within one year of completing fellowship training.
    • Holds an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas, or the ability to become licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas.

    Compensation Information

    • Pay Rate: $184,000.00 - $216,000.00 Annually.
