    Cardiothoracic Radiologist

    The Department of Radiology in the Joe R and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Cardiothoracic Radiologist that must be ABR certified/eligible by appointment start date. This is for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor to Professor rank and will include clinical and teaching duties. The candidate will be providing services at the new UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty Research Hospital and other affiliated facilities. Our hospitals are regional referral centers for trauma, oncology, surgery, general medicine, and organ transplantation.

    Job Description

    • Provide clinical care to patients and participate in various teaching/patient management conferences.
    • Teach medical students and oversee/mentor residents in the performance and interpretation of cardiothoracic imaging studies.
    • Participate in research activities.

    Requirements

    • Must possess a Medical Degree and have completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency program.
    • Board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
    • Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic or Chest Radiology.
    • Currently have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical License prior to start.
    • Competent in diagnostic radiology, including cardiothoracic/chest imaging and cardiac radiology (CT and MR).

    Benefits

    • Compensation range: $383,000.00 - $430,000.00 annually.
