    Job Description

    • Opportunity to work with the Residency Director to help develop and expand upon the traditional core curriculum.
    • As a core faculty member of a family medicine residency, the incoming physician will educate students and residents within both bedside and classroom settings.
    • Help Shannon Health navigate its transformation into an academic health system.
    • Be employed by Texas A&M, ranked one of the nation's Best Universities by US News & World Report.
    • Work with the Shannon Health System, the only safety net health care provider in the region, which provides the communities of West Central Texas with various medical services to meet the community's needs.
    • Shannon's services include nationally recognized cardiac and stroke programs, AirMed1 rotor and fixed-wing air ambulance service, Level III Trauma Facility, which has been named the top Trauma Facility in the state, Blue Cross Blue Shield designated bariatric surgery program, Designated Orthopedic Center of Excellence, and a Dedicated Women's & Children's Hospital.
