We are currently recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist to join a leading multi-specialty healthcare practice in eastern North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growth-driven team due to increasing patient volumes, market demand, and the retirement of current physicians. You'll have the chance to work in a collegial environment alongside 2 Hematology/Oncology specialists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers. Our client is the largest private medical-surgical multi-specialty healthcare practice in eastern North Carolina, with over 100 providers serving patients across Greenville, Farmville, Winterville, Kinston, and Beulaville. Established in 1965, the practice is committed to providing individualized, comprehensive, and patient-focused care. This practice is widely known for their Hematology/Oncology services, and many travel from all over North Carolina to receive care at their Cancer Center.
Job Description
- Well-established Cancer Center - Hematology/Oncology department includes 12 chemotherapy bays as well as its own lab.
- Mostly outpatient with light inpatient census; mostly consultative; admissions and care handled by hospitalists.
- Guaranteed base salary in Year 1 and 2; take home 100% of profits as shareholder thereafter.
- Shareholder Physicians earn between $500K-$800K.
- Comfortable patient volumes and strong staff support.
- 18+ patients only, no pediatrics.
- Extensive referral network - great relationships with breast surgeons and general surgeons in the community.
- Practice paid insurance premiums.
- 401k, profit sharing plan, and HSA available.
Requirements
- Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina and must be board-eligible or certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Medical degree required.

Benefits
- Compensation information: $400,000.00 annually - $725,000.00 annually.
