Job Description

• Inpatient and outpatient split
• Manage 12-15 patients
• Hospital responsibilities include 5 ED consults, 5 newborns, and 5 census
• Outpatient responsibilities involve seeing 12-15 patients in clinic with a resident provider
• Possible schedule: 7 on 7 off while working hospital week, M-F schedule while in clinic week
• Example schedule:
  • Week 1: 7 days on in hospital
  • Week 2: Off
  • Week 3: Clinic M-F
  • Week 4: 7 nights on in the hospital
  • Week 5: Off
• When in practice, a resident will be with you
• Follow a 20-minute schedule template
• Always 1 neonatologist in-house for hospital shifts

Compensation

• Base salary of $280,000
• $40,000 sign-on bonus
• Relocation allowance also available
