Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
This facility is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Job Description
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a - 8p, Saturday 8a - 7p, Sunday 8a - 5p
- Patients per day: 30-40
- Practice Setting: Outpatient
- Scope: Typical Urgent Care procedures/cases. Must be able to close lacerations, perform I&D, read X-ray and EKG. Work Comp experience a plus as well as DOT certification. Must be able to see all ages (including pediatrics under 3 months old).
Requirements
- Active Texas license
- Drug Enforcement Administration license
- Must be Board Certified
- No less than 3 years of experience in Urgent Care as an Advanced Practice Provider (experience as RN doesn't count)
