Clinical Psychiatrist

Annashae is seeking a clinical psychiatrist to provide services to a civil, inpatient mental health facility located directly in Chicago. Hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends, no call, and no holidays. Annual compensation is $425K+ with malpractice insurance provided.

Job Description

• Documentation of reasons for medication changes
• Monthly progress notes on patients describing changes in mental status, behavior, and psychopharmacotherapy
• Daily documentation of updates and changes on assigned patients
• Fitness status evaluations every 90 days
• Progress reports during facility stay to justify transfer to a less secure facility
• Review of seclusion and restraints at least twice a month
• Provide relevant, thorough, and timely psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of patient admission to the facility, including 90-day reports, fitness reports, and NGRI reports before they come due

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted Illinois license & CSL
• Current DEA with no restrictions
• BE/BC Psychiatry
