Family Practice Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity

Join our team at a community health center in Washington State. This position offers an immediate start upon credentialing, with a contract length of 3 months and potential for extension.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
  • 8-hour shifts with 1-hour unpaid lunch
  • No call requirements
• Patient Volume: 18 patients/day (flexible based on cancellations)
• Patient Population: Full-spectrum care (Newborns through Geriatrics)
• Practice Setting:
  • Outpatient community health center serving diverse populations
  • Special focus on migrant/refugee health (interpretation services available)
  • Walk-in/acute care + chronic disease management

Your Support Team

• Dedicated medical assistant per provider
• Onsite pediatrician & mental health therapists
• Reception & administrative support
• Dietitian services available

Requirements

• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active WA medical license (required)
  • Board Certified (required)
  • Active WA DEA license
  • BLS/ACLS (provider responsibility)
• Experience:
  • 2+ years recent face-to-face patient care
  • Clean malpractice history
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 + Flu (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/Russian)
• Community health experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Travel & Logistics

• Covered Expenses:
  • Flights (up to $700 roundtrip)
  • Rental car ($2k/month cap) OR mileage reimbursement
  • Lodging ($3k/month cap)
