Job Description

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Patient load: 8-15 patients per day, all ages
• EHR: RPMS

Requirements

• Board Certified MD/DO
• Any unrestricted state license accepted
• COVID vaccination with boosters
• Background check with fingerprinting required

Community Overview

Located in the southeastern Navajo Nation, approximately 40 miles north of Gallup, New Mexico, this IHS facility provides essential ambulatory care for around 8,000 residents. It offers a range of services, including pharmacy, physical therapy, x-ray, lab, public health nursing, optometry, dental, and health education. Opened in 1994, it is one of the newest Navajo Area IHS facilities, staffed by a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, with most staff residing in nearby Gallup.
