    Pain Management Nurse Practitioner

    Arc Health is seeking an experienced Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (APRN) for a full-time, long-term locum position covering two locations in northern New Hampshire. Join a collaborative, patient-centered team delivering comprehensive pain management care in one of New England's most scenic and affordable regions. This position also has the possibility of transitioning to permanent if it is a good fit for you and the site.

    Job Description

    • Start: ASAP; must hold or obtain NH license (compact eligible)
    • Duration: 6+ months, option to extend
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
    • Setting: Outpatient pain management clinic
    • Patient Volume: patients/day
    • Travel: 1 to 2 days/week to outreach site (paid)
    • Compensation: Highly competitive rate negotiable for the right candidate

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with acute and chronic pain.
    • Manage medication therapy, perform consultations, and coordinate care.
    • Provide education, counseling, and compliance monitoring (PDMP & UDS).
    • Perform and/or refer for procedures such as trigger point & joint injections, occipital blocks, cold ablation (Iovera), Botox for chronic pain/headaches.
    • Certify patients for medical cannabis as appropriate.
    • Participate in ultrasound-guided procedures and Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT) as qualified.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Nursing (APRN) required
    • 2+ years of experience in Pain Management
    • Active or compact-eligible NH APRN license required
    • Experience with 50+ pain patients in the past year preferred
    • DEA license required; MAT certification a plus
    • Must be comfortable working independently in a rural outpatient environment
