Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia (CVCSG) is recruiting a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team of providers who are motivated to meet the highest possible standards of patient care. This role will be predominantly outpatient-focused, with the majority of time spent in the clinic setting with occasional responsibilities in the hospital. Job Description

• Function as an extension of the physician in diagnosing and developing treatment plans.
• Possess sound clinical assessment and evaluation skills.
• Effectively manage time and priorities.
• Apply strong critical thinking skills.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal skills with patients, families, and all CVSG team members.

Requirements

• Experience in cardiology is highly preferred.
• Current licensure as Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia and national certification are required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are also required.
• Candidates should value ongoing professional growth and be dedicated to staying current in the evolving field of cardiology.
