    Located in Spring Valley, NY - 35 minutes from New York City, this is a full-time, permanent position.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive dental care to health center patients, including definitive, emergency, restorative, and preventive dental care.
    • Perform routine examinations and treatment.
    • Diagnose ailments of the oral cavity and perform and interpret X-rays.
    • Perform teeth cleaning and dental work, including crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.
    • Perform limited dental surgery, restricted to extractions.
    • Document patients' dental history and treatment.
    • Supervise dental assistants and hygienists.
    • Perform patient pain management techniques.
    • Comply with applicable policies and procedures and support the Compliance Program.
    • Contribute to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required.

    Requirements

    • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
    • Current, valid NYS license to practice dentistry.
    • Other certifications as required by state, including CPR, DEA, etc.
