Gastroenterology opening in South Carolina. Located in Conway, SC, just 40 minutes from Myrtle Beach, this full-time, permanent position seeks a board-eligible or board-certified gastroenterologist to join a non-profit hospital.

Job Description

• 50/50 split on clinic lab and endoscopy
• Endo pre and post operating rooms: 8; Procedure rooms: 4
• 8-day call schedule: 1 in 4
• Consultation services only for inpatient
• No tech specifics are required
• 4 MDs and 1 NP in the clinic currently, with 1 NP available each day
• 3+ weeks wait time for patients
• 5,000 cases annually: 500 inpatient and 4,500 outpatient procedure volume
• Relationship with Duke equates to the vision of retaining GI cancer cases in network/clinic
• 2.5 days in clinic and 2.5 days in lab
