Gastroenterology Opening Near Charlotte, NC

Located in Hickory, NC, just 55 minutes from Charlotte, we are seeking a confident and motivated Gastroenterologist to spearhead the development of a newly formed hospital-employed GI clinic. This is a full-time position that includes a mix of inpatient procedures and outpatient clinic work. The hospital features 2 endoscopy suites, with plans for the outpatient clinic to include 3 additional endoscopy suites.

Shared call is required, with 10 days per month. Guaranteed OR block time is available, and we use Athena EMR. Flexible schedules will be considered at our 355-bed hospital.

Job Description

• Spearhead the development of a newly formed hospital-employed GI clinic
• Perform a mix of inpatient procedures and outpatient clinic work
• Utilize 2 endoscopy suites in the hospital and plans for 3 in the outpatient clinic
• Participate in shared call (10 days per month)
