General Surgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

• Conduct new patient consults, post-operative follow-ups, and inpatient transition of care rounding
• Perform in-office procedures (skin and soft tissue mass excisions, incision and drainage, complex wound care)
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and assist with system quality initiatives
• Develop long-term patient relationships in a collaborative and supportive environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Licensed (or eligible) PA-C or APRN in Connecticut
• Board-certified (or eligible) in General Surgery or related field
• Preferred: Experience in plastics, general, or colorectal surgery
