Locums PA - General Surgery No Call

Join our team as a full-time surgical PA in Novi & Southfield, MI, providing coverage through the end of 2025. This is an OR-focused role with high-volume robotic surgery exposure in a collaborative environment with surgeons, residents, and support staff.

Job Description

• Full-time surgical PA coverage needed through the end of 2025
• OR-focused role with high-volume robotic surgery exposure
• Collaborative environment with surgeons, residents, and support staff

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP (post-credentialing; temps approved)
• End Date: 12/31/2025
• Coverage Type: No Call
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p (flexible start/end); 40 hrs/week
• Setting: Hospital-based OR (20+ ORs, 3 DaVinci robots)
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified (NCCPA)
• Active MI license
• BLS, ACLS (AHA)
• 2-3 years' experience with robotic bedside first-assist (GYN, urology, general surgery, bariatrics)
• Cerner experience preferred
• Clean record

Clinical Details

• OR Responsibilities: Bedside first-assist in robotic cases, port placement, port site closure
• Procedures:
  • Support for GYN
  • Urology
  • General surgery
  • Bariatrics
  • Occasional non-robotic cases
• Additional Duties: Occasional discharges, documentation, outpatient prescriptions
• Support: Surgeons, senior/junior residents, scrub techs, circulating nurses

Compensation

• Rates: Facility is accepting best market bids
• Malpractice: Provided
• Travel: Local candidates preferred; hotel & mileage reimbursed if approved
