    Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

    Join a well-established surgical team in New Britain, CT, as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the Urology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery division. This full-time position offers a supportive environment with a strong history of excellence, including a Physician Assistant training program that has been active for over 25 years.

    Job Description

    • First-assist in surgery, providing perioperative care, admission and discharges, fracture care, and wound care.
    • Work in an inpatient subspecialty surgery setting with a full-time schedule of rotating 27/13-hour shifts, allowing for significant work-life balance.
    • No additional call required.

    Requirements

    • Unrestricted Connecticut Medical License (or eligibility).
    • Physician Assistant certification or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) certification.
    • RNFA certification (for Nurse Practitioners).
    • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting.
