Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Pediatric NP/PA needed in Fayetteville, NC. This is a full-time, permanent position in a practice with 5 providers and two locations in Fayetteville and Spring Lake, NC. We are recruiting a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our provider team. The qualified candidate must be committed to compassionate, high-quality, community-based healthcare and building long-term relationships with parents, children, and staff based on trust.

Job Description

• This position is full-time, 4.5 days per week. The hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am - 12 pm on Fridays.
• Our providers work in a well-supported office environment to provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to children aged 0-18.
• Our APPs usually see 18 patients per day in a combination of sick and well visits.
• Call is rotated among the providers on a weekly basis, consisting of answering patient questions and being available for any urgent lab results by phone only. No inpatient call is required.
• You will work in the primary care setting treating acute illness and performing well-visits.
• The clinic is staffed by a pediatrician with over 30 years of experience, who will provide personal pediatrics training on the job when you join their practice.

Requirements

• The preferred candidate will be a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
