Physician Acute Care Orthopedic Hospitalist

Asante Health System is seeking an additional surgeon to join our Acute Care Orthopedic Hospitalist team in Grants Pass, Oregon. This position focuses on providing hospital-based community orthopedic care at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center. Block schedule with dedicated OR time and 1:1 PA support. Base salary position with total compensation dependent on experience. Asante Three Rivers Medical Center is a 125-bed facility offering a unique blend of personalized, small-hospital attention and the advanced capabilities of a modern medical center, serving the residents of Southern Oregon with high-quality, comprehensive care in conjunction with Asante Rogue Regional level II trauma center.

Job Description

• Provide hospital-based community orthopedic care
• Work in a block schedule with dedicated OR time and 1:1 PA support

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Orthopedic Surgical Medicine
• Board Eligible/Board Certification
• Current unrestricted MD license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association
• Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
• Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
