Locum Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Job Description

• Location: Santa Clara, CA (Bay Area)
• Assignment Dates: June 30, 2025 - August 27, 2025 (9-week contract with possible extension)
• Clinic Type: Employee Health Corporate/Occupational Health
• Shift Details:
  • Monday - Wednesday
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute meal break)
• Responsibilities:
  • Conduct health evaluations and physical assessments
  • Treat minor work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Perform wellness screenings, vaccinations, and TB tests
  • Support COVID-19 protocols and return-to-work evaluations
  • Collaborate with on-site physicians, RNs, and administrative staff
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation (Epic preferred)
  • Educate employees on preventive care and lifestyle improvements

Requirements

• Current California RN & NP license
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• BLS certification (ACLS a plus)
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience (occupational health preferred)
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
