Join our Faculty at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School as an Academic Gastroenterologist. In addition to clinical practice, the selected candidate will have robust opportunities for teaching and research in our Premier Academic Health System.

Job Description

• Large Academic Section with Collegial Partners: Join the 22+ highly respected clinical faculty of The Section on Gastroenterology & Hepatology where you will enjoy a strong culture of collaboration & innovation across the health system. There will be daily opportunities to participate in the education of GI Fellows & supervise a growing team of GI APPs.
• Work/Life Balance: Flexible schedule of 2 days of GI Endoscopy - 1 day of GI outpatient clinic based on need. Protected Academic Time for Research available. APP, clinical and ample support staff provided. Inpatient consults and call shared amongst Faculty.

Requirements

• Licensed or Eligible for NC Medical License
• Candidates should be board certified or board eligible
