Nurse Practitioner - Urology

Join us at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Urology team. The APP will work closely with urologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with various urologic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, assisting in procedures, managing preoperative and postoperative care, and developing treatment plans. Enjoy working in a team-based approach to care, with ample backup and support, in a Section of Urology which includes 30+ Physicians and APPs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program; Master's degree or higher required
• Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing is required to start
