Telemedicine Psychiatrist

Avita is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Telemedicine Psychiatrist to join our expanding behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care through a modern digital platform, focusing on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, follow-up assessments, and medication management via secure video conferencing.
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This includes reviewing charts, discussing complex treatment plans, and being available for real-time consultations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse adult population (optional: child/adolescent focus if qualified).
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care integration teams, and care coordinators to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and Avita's internal quality standards.
