Join our team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital. This position offers a collaborative environment with full support from the ED and hospital staff.

Job Description

• Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours, no call
• Shift structure includes day, night, and weekend shifts
• Typical schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (flexible)
• Full-time coverage needed across rotating shifts
• EMR: Meditech
• Evaluation and management of emergency department patients
• Independent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within APP EM scope
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostics
• Coordination with attending physicians and ED team
• Expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Role: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Emergency Medicine)
• Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience strongly preferred
• License: Active Florida license required (not willing to license)
• Board Certification: Required
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
• Additional Requirement: Must live within 50 miles of the facility
