Hematology/Oncology APP (NP or PA)

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology APP (NP or PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This position is set to start on March 9, 2026, and offers a flexible contract length of 26 weeks, with the possibility of extending to 3-6 months ongoing.

Job Description

• Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours only
• Shift structure:
  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week
  • Strongly preferred 3 shifts per week
• Day shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Call: None

Practice Details

• Setting: Outpatient hematology/oncology within a large acute care hospital
• Patient volume: Patients per day
• Patient population: All ages
• Support staff: Yes
• Hospital size: 686 beds
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope Includes

• Outpatient hematology and medical oncology visits
• Follow-ups, evaluations, and treatment management
• Coordination with the oncology team
• No procedures beyond standard hem/onc outpatient care

Requirements

• Board certification: NP or PA
• License: Active Minnesota license required (not willing to license)
• DEA: Not required
• Experience: Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred
• Credentialing timeframe: Days
• Temporary privileges: Possible with a clean background

Travel support may be available depending on assignment specifics.
