Optometrist

Join our team as an Optometrist in Lincoln, ME. This position offers a supportive environment with a focus on providing quality eye care and emergency treatment.

Job Description

• Examine eyes and the visual system, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment.
• May prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions.
• Work with a support staff of 1 Optometric Tech and 1 Optician.
• Average of 16 patients per day.

Requirements

• No specific skills, languages, or qualifications required beyond general optometry.

Schedule

• 4-day work week, Tuesday to Friday, with a 36-hour workweek.
• Shift details: 8 AM to 6 PM with a 60-minute lunch.

Work Details

• Full-time coverage needed per month.
• Practice setting: Clinic, FQHC.
