Nuclear Medicine Physician

We have an immediate need for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Nuclear Medicine Physician to provide full-time onsite coverage. This opening is due to an unexpected leave of absence, and we are looking to fill it as soon as possible.

We are also open to per diem Nuclear Medicine help if full-time coverage isn’t available. Locums-to-perm candidates are welcome to apply.

Job Description

• Ongoing, full-time preferred (at least 1 week at a time if part-time)
• Day shifts: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (onsite; remote reading possible when no procedures)
• Call: Weeknights from 5 pm to 8 am
• Weekends from 8 am Saturday to 8 am Monday (24-hour coverage)
• Volume: patients per day
• Systems: Carestream PACS, EPIC RIS, 24/7 IT and reading room assistant support

Procedures

• Lymphoscintigrams
• Pediatric Nuclear Medicine studies
• Therapies and specialized PET scans (PSMA & Dotatate)
• PET/CT bone scans
• Heart, renal, and liver scans

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Nuclear Medicine
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• California RML
• BLS and DEA certification
