Job Description

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent patients with speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop treatment plans and provide therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide therapy and interventions to improve patients' functional communication skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must be licensed by the Texas Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
• 1 year experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassion and patience in working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
