    Family Practice Physician Assistant

    We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in Washington, beginning on Jul 9, 2025. The role involves managing patient care over three consecutive 12-hour shifts from Thursday to Saturday, including both direct patient interaction and administrative responsibilities.

    Job Description

    • Serve as the sole provider in a primary care setting, managing a broad range of cases across all age groups.
    • Conduct comprehensive examinations and develop patient management plans.
    • Ensure high-quality care and maintain patient records using Cerner EMR system.
    • Manage both scheduled appointments and walk-in patients, adhering to a structured schedule that includes dedicated administrative time for patient follow-ups and record keeping.

    Requirements

    • Must have an active WA license and be nationally certified.
    • Requires at least 2 years of experience in primary care.
    • Must be comfortable working independently and with all age groups.
    • Candidates should have a clean background and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and as a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems is necessary.
