We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Feb 9, 2026, for a 14-day contract. This role features 24-hour out-of-house call coverage with shifts from 7am to 7am, requiring prompt responses for patient consults. The ideal candidate is experienced with ventilators and comfortable managing occasional pediatric and ICU cases, as the facility does not have intensivists. Proficiency with Meditech EHR is essential.

Job Description

• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, remaining prepared to respond rapidly for patient consults
• Conduct patient rounding and follow-up care
• Manage cases involving ventilators in the absence of intensivists
• Care for adult, pediatric, and ICU patients as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of a few years of relevant experience required
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine
• Kentucky medical license required
• Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
