We are seeking a board-certified Neonatologist for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in Texas starting Dec 13, 2025. This role features 24-hour shifts with rounding plus call from home or hotel, covering a NICU and newborn nursery. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns in a NICU and newborn nursery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Support families and foster strong communication during the NICU stay
- Participate in efforts as the hospital works towards NICU designation
- Utilize advanced technology within a state-of-the-art NICU facility
Requirements
- Board certification in Neonatology required (board eligible not accepted)
- Active Texas medical license required
- Must have at least 6 months of recent clinical experience in Neonatology and have been clinically active within the past year
- Clean background and no malpractice history required for fast credentialing
- Completion of prescreen questionnaire required
- CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
