Job Description

• This position offers a unique opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to practice in a rural setting with both medically directed and independent practice opportunities.
• The role involves administering anesthesia to patients of all ages in various settings including the operating room, obstetrics, and throughout the hospital as needed.

Job Details

• Salaried position with 8-hour day shifts plus 24-hour call responsibilities
• Call schedule is approximately 1:6 ratio with flexible, self-scheduling options
• Call coverage Monday-Friday and Saturday-Sunday
• 20-minute callback window for emergencies with a call room provided
• Labor analgesia service for approximately 250 deliveries per year
• Work with various surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, ENT, podiatry, gastroenterology, OB/Gyn, and ophthalmology
• Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
• Requires RN license in Minnesota and NBCRNA certification
• Excellent communication skills and ability to function effectively in stressful situations
