Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Practice Provider

Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider at the 32nd Avenue Building in Fargo, ND. If you enjoy being on the go, this growth position will require the practitioner to provide services based at our campus and also travel to our outreach clinics and dialysis centers to meet the growing needs of our patient populations in multiple settings.

Job Description

• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
• Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
• Rotate through outreach sites and dialysis centers with a full-time schedule of Mon-Fri 8a-5p.
• Manage 15-20 clinic patients per day, including telehealth services.
• Requires licensure and DEA in both ND & MN, with outreach to Park Rapids, Detroit Lakes, Jamestown, Wahpeton, and Moorhead.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR and national certification in the applicable area.
• Preferred background/experience in nephrology.
