Physician - Dysphagia Consultant

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding area performing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders. Presently we are in need of additional physicians to join our group. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. All doctors with various experiences are encouraged to apply. During training, you will be compensated.

The practice is part of a network which has sister practices in New England and Texas.

Job Description

• Provide professional dysphagia consultations including modified barium swallows for patients who have swallowing difficulties.
• Deliver consultations utilizing a mobile unit.
• Schedule requests for swallowing studies from various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients, typically within 24 to 72 hours of receiving the request.

Benefits

• Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week will be approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more depending on volume.

• Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice.

In over 400,000 evaluations in a 19-year period, we have not had one malpractice inquiry or action.

We want to make sure our staff is home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM every day.
