Cardiologist

Permanent full-time Cardiologist needed in Goodyear, AZ. An Arizona or IMLC license is accepted, with a base salary of $505,000.

Job Description

• Full-time General Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiology care in outpatient and inpatient settings. Current team consists of 2 physicians and 3 APPs.
• Inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities.
• Interpretation of noninvasive studies including EKG, Echo, Stress test, Nuclear Medicine stress, vascular Ultrasound, event monitors, and holters.
• Interventional cardiology procedures and cases, including emergency and elective angioplasty and stenting, diagnostic heart catheterization.

Compensation

• Competitive salary: $505,000 guaranteed base for the first 18 months, plus productivity bonus.

Call Schedule

• No ER call. Only practice call - 1 week a month.

Hospital Rounding

Requirements

• Active AZ State License or IMLC.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency).
• More than 2 years of experience.
• Flu vaccination required or need medical or religious exemption.
• Covid vaccination required or need medical or religious exemption.
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA issued required if requesting conscious sedation privileges, BLS-AHA issued required for all specialties.
