Arthroplasty and Joint Reconstruction Surgeon
The Carl J Shapiro Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (an affiliate of Beth Israel Lahey Health) and Harvard Medical School seeks applications and nominations for an Arthroplasty and Joint Reconstruction Surgeon with a very strong interest in orthopedic education and clinical research. This is an employed position of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC, Inc. (HMFP).
The incumbent is expected to provide strong clinical, educational, and research activities within the Division. Preferential consideration will be given to applicants who possess a strong academic and research track record. Academic rank at Harvard Medical School (HMS) is commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. Faculty appointment decisions are solely the purview of HMS.
Clinical practice will be based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in the heart of Boston's Longwood Medical Area, with additional clinical opportunities or requirements for practice at other sites within the Beth Israel Lahey Health network including New England Baptist Hospital, BIDMC Needham, and other BILH affiliates.

Requirements
- Completed an accredited orthopedic residency training program
- Fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction
- Board certified/board eligible
- Eligible for licensure in Massachusetts

$375,000.00 / Annually - $450,000.00 / Annually
