Physician Assistant

Join our Lifestyle Health: Weight Loss and Wellness team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center! We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to be part of our collaborative, interdisciplinary group.

Job Description

• Work with a team (physicians, APPs, behavioral health, and registered dietitians) to develop comprehensive health and wellness plans for adult patients.
• Conduct medical evaluations.
• Provide nutritional counseling.
• Offer behavioral consults.
• Prescribe and manage weight loss medications (within scope of practice).
• Provide education and counseling on healthy lifestyle and behavior change (healthy eating, exercise).
• Document relevant data promptly in the electronic medical record.
• Consult with collaborating physicians as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and education.
• Maintain professional interactions with all staff and patients.

Requirements

• Commitment to managing the physical, emotional, and social impact of patient weight loss interventions.
• Active or eligible APP license in the State of Massachusetts.
• DEA license & MCSR.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in Nutrition, Obesity Medicine, or Family Medicine is a plus.
• EPIC (Electronic Health Record) experience is preferred.

Benefits

• Pay range: $133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD annually.
