Physician Assistant
Join our Lifestyle Health: Weight Loss and Wellness team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center! We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to be part of our collaborative, interdisciplinary group.
Job Description
- Work with a team (physicians, APPs, behavioral health, and registered dietitians) to develop comprehensive health and wellness plans for adult patients.
- Conduct medical evaluations.
- Provide nutritional counseling.
- Offer behavioral consults.
- Prescribe and manage weight loss medications (within scope of practice).
- Provide education and counseling on healthy lifestyle and behavior change (healthy eating, exercise).
- Document relevant data promptly in the electronic medical record.
- Consult with collaborating physicians as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education.
- Maintain professional interactions with all staff and patients.
Requirements
- Commitment to managing the physical, emotional, and social impact of patient weight loss interventions.
- Active or eligible APP license in the State of Massachusetts.
- DEA license & MCSR.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in Nutrition, Obesity Medicine, or Family Medicine is a plus.
- EPIC (Electronic Health Record) experience is preferred.
Benefits
- Pay range: $133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD annually.
