Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is under new management and looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to work in our facility in Syracuse, NY.

We are now offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Job Description

• Handle all supervisory duties for the unit
• Establish employee policies and procedures
• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice
• Establish the standards of care for the unit
• Review resident records and quality of care
• Monitor overall care and review individual resident cases
• Address questions or complaints brought forward by residents or their families
• Ensure the department is well-stocked with medical supplies
• Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of long-term care experience
• Minimum 1 year of unit manager experience
• Must hold a valid RN license
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills
