Physician Assistant - Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Join our team as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at our Alton, IL location. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some weekends and a paid orthopedic call schedule.

Job Description

• Manage the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Coordinate the care of select patient populations to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services, and placing referrals.
• Assess development needs of staff and develop and deliver appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
• Develop treatment plans and treat patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined protocol.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant license.
• PA orthopedic experience preferred but open to other PA backgrounds; new graduate PAs will be considered.
• Nurse Practitioners will be considered if they possess RNFA.

Compensation Information

$95,700.80 / Annually - $155,812.80 / Annually.
