Urgent Care Physician

Join our team as an Urgent Care Physician in North Carolina. This full-time employed position is set in a fast-paced urgent care setting, with openings available starting February 2020.

Job Description

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (MD preferred, but DO will be accepted)
• Schedule: 3-4 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Facility hours: 8 AM to 8 PM Monday to Friday, and 8 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday
• Must be comfortable working solo
• Perform wet reads of x-rays
• Start IVs
• Conduct recent procedures such as punch abscesses, pelvic exams, and toenail removals
• Perform recent suturing from simple to complex lacerations
• Experience with workers' compensation cases
• Must see all ages
• DOT certification is a plus (if the provider does not have it, the facility will pay for certification)
