Nurse Practitioner

Bristol Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a busy, well-established urology practice. This is an office-based position that includes evaluation and management of patients presenting with basic urologic problems as well as office procedures such as dressing changes, bladder challenge, bladder irrigation, drain and catheter removals, and urine collections.

Job Description

• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with basic urologic problems
• Perform office procedures including dressing changes, bladder challenge, bladder irrigation, drain and catheter removals, and urine collections

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or a national certifying body recognized for certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Prefer clinical working experience as an APP within the given specialty/service line
• CT medical license, ACLS/BLS certified, DEA License, CT CSP
• Practitioner will meet the standards and requirements for Adjunct Medical Staff membership as defined in the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws
