Geriatric Psychiatrist
We are currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Geriatric Psychiatrist in Monroe, LA. This will be both inpatient and outpatient. The bulk of the case load will be outpatient clinical work at the behavioral health hospital, about 4 miles from the Regional Hospital. The behavioral health hospital has a new behavioral health EMR, 40 beds, and is divided into 2 units: 20 geriatric beds and 20 general psych beds. There is a daily census of 18-21 patients. Currently, there are (2) doctors and (2) psychiatric NPs on staff with mid-level support. The incoming physician will be responsible for inpatient consults.
Job Description
- Paid call - $200/weekday and $400/weekend
- Standard business hours (8:30-5:30)
