Neurosurgeon

Seeking a board eligible/board certified neurosurgeon to join a talented team. The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma neurosurgery, which includes managing neuro trauma alerts, trauma consults, managing follow-up clinic, participating in peer review, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds. The position is hospital-based under the trauma department and shares the month with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon with APP support. This trauma program is the area's only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1 million residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the residency consortium.

Job Description

• Board certified/board eligible in neurosurgery
• Spine fellowship trained with experience in trauma neurosurgery required
• Must be able to perform complex spine surgery
