    OBGYN Laborist

    Bryan Physician Network, a division of Bryan Health, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN Laborist to join our obstetrics and gynecology team. This position involves working a rotating two-week schedule with nocturnal and weekend shifts to provide comprehensive obstetric care and emergency services.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive obstetric care including labor and delivery management
    • Perform emergency cesarean sections and other urgent obstetric procedures
    • Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complications
    • Provide consultation services to the emergency department for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
    • Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, and other medical specialists
    • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
    • Provide patient and family education and counseling
    • Respond to obstetric emergencies and trauma cases
    • Support resident and medical student education when applicable

    Schedule Requirements

    • Week 1:

      • Three (3) 14-hour nocturnal shifts
    • Week 2:

      • One (1) 24-hour weekend shift
      • One (1) 14-hour nocturnal shift

    This two-week schedule pattern repeats continuously.

    Requirements

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    • Valid medical license in Nebraska (or ability to obtain)
    • DEA registration
    • ACLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
    • Completion of accredited OBGYN residency program
    • Ability to work extended shifts including overnight and weekend hours
    • Strong clinical decision-making skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Compensation & Benefits Package

    • Base Compensation: $315K Base - Extra shifts are: $1600/night, $2600 for a 24-hour weekend shift, and $2950 for a 24-hour holiday shift.
