Just minutes from downtown Asheville, NC, in the Great Smoky Mountains, a Psychiatric Medical Director is needed to join a full support staff in an inpatient setting. Call is limited to phone during the week and is shared by all eligible staff on the weekends, making it very reasonable (1-6). This same parent company has outpatient openings as well; the psychiatrist would be in a community mental health setting and will be asked to participate in the call rotation for the inpatient unit as well as an adult recovery unit. With so many options through the employer, one would be able to structure a practice to their liking.
