Job Description
- The RN assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
- Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
- Develops individual nursing care plans.
- Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed.
- Evaluates patient care outcomes.
- Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees.
- Administers medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Communicates with patients and oversees the provision of care.
- Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to their condition.
- Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
- Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- Must obtain ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire.
