    Registered Nurse (Per Diem)

    Job Description

    • Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
    • Document patient care given.
    • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
    • Detect changes in patient status and report to appropriate healthcare team members.
    • Assign priorities to the patient's problems with the highest priority given to the most urgent and critical issues.
    • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
    • Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
    • Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
    • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

    Requirements

    • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
    • Must have an active AZ or Compact RN License.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
    • Must obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire.
