Job Description

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 5-bed ICU, with occasional floating to the ED, Med/Surg, or Peds units as needed.
• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients and support their families.
• Follow doctors' orders and adhere to standards of care and hospital policies.
• Provide after-hours recovery for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice in any state of the USA, Puerto Rico, or a US territory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (within 6 months of hire).
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification (within 6 months of hire).
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (within 6 months of hire).
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply).
