    Job Description

    • Interpreting and entering prescription information in compliance with state regulations
    • Using various computer systems to process prescriptions, compare orders, and generate labels
    • Packaging and delivering medications following standard procedures to ensure safe and secure delivery
    • Conducting quality assurance checks, reaching out to prescribers and patients when needed, and resolving third-party rejections
    • Preparing manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling the required medications from inventory, and completing necessary scanning and packaging

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma / GED with 1+ years of prior experience in counting/packing medications and prior authorizations
    • Certified pharmacy technician within the state of employment
    • Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand, and generic names of medications)
    • Proficiency with a computer and Windows PC applications, able to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
    • Availability to work within operating hours: San Francisco Pharmacy Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
